Remembrance Day Assembly I would like to start off this week by commending all students at Scenic Acres for their outstanding performance at the Remembrance Day Assembly. In the weeks leading up to the assembly, students were focused and passionate about preparing songs, poetry, and art work to honor our veterans. They showed perseverance while learning new and difficult material that they performed with mastery. Thank you to all parents who attended the service. Thursday December 12, is another day to mark on your calendars, as we will be presenting the musical " It's Christmas Carol" , in a matinee and evening performance (1:30 and 6:30). All Kindergarten to Grade 4 students are currently working on the songs and choreography to the play, while the actors and the dancers from the Performing Arts Club continue to rehearse at lunch time.
